Shalom Foundation

Give a man a fish, you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish, and you have fed him for a lifetime!

The Shalom foundation believes and chooses its projects according to the above principle, which is a strong advocate of self empowerment.

Our main focus is young people between the ages of 12 to 30. We have seen that if youngsters and young adults make decisions by their own choice, they are dedicated and committed to succeed and to success. The Shalom foundation believes that helping young people to educate and develop themselves is the best way to help them achieve a better, happier, fruitful and more successful life. We like to help people who want to change their own situation and take control of their lives. Their age brings them eagerness and flexibility to truly make a change and to succeed. When these youngsters themselves believe that their goals are feasible and possible, they commit to that direction. When you witness such a process, you see wonderful things happen. You can see people blossom because someone loves and believes in them. Because of the changes the youngsters get, they are more positive in life and that by itself has a positive spin off to their whole community. We believe that self empowerment, commitment, love, care, guidance and respect should be present in all our projects. We aim to have long term relationships with our projects because we believe in commitment and partnership. Our dearest hope is that we may contribute to society via the projects that we support and make the world a bit better place.
